How to Access Your Nintendo eShop Account Information

What to do

• Review information on Nintendo Switch 2
  1. Select Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu to launch the Nintendo eShop.
  2. Select the account you want to use.
  3. If you have enabled user verification, you may be prompted to confirm your identity by re-entering your password or entering a PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN .
     • Forgot password

       If you have forgotten your password, please follow Forgot Nintendo Account Sign-in Info.

     • Forgot  PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN  or entered  PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN  incorrectly

       If you have forgotten your user-verification PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN or you entered the incorrect PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN too many times, follow these steps:

       1. With the PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN entry screen displayed, press the + button.
       2. Select Sign InIniciar sesiónSe connecterIniciar sessão.
       3. Sign in to your Nintendo Account.
       4. A message will appear indicating that your PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN has been deleted. Select OK Aceptar OK OK .
          • Note that this will not turn off user verification, but instead switch it to requiring you to sign in to your Nintendo Account. You can change back to the PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN verification method and create a new PIN Contraseña Code secret PIN in your User Settings.

  4. Select your user icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
  5. Select one of the available options to review or change the relevant information.
     • Account Information
       • Available Funds

         View your current balance and add funds.

       • Available Gold Points

         Displays the My Nintendo Gold Points that you currently have available to use towards a purchase.

       • Nintendo Switch Online

         Check the status of your Nintendo Switch Online membership, and adjust auto-renewal settings.

       • Nintendo Switch Game Voucher

         View your available, unused Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers. Each individual voucher will be listed along with its expiration date.

       • Passes

         Check the status of your other subscriptions and passes, and adjust auto-renewal settings as applicable.

     • Your Preorders
       • Manage or cancel your pre-orders anytime before payment has been collected.
     • Redownload
       • Select Virtual Game Cards to be taken to the virtual game cards menu to redownload your digital content.
     • Settings
       • Credit Card Information

         View information about your stored credit card (last 4 digits and card expiration date) and/or delete the saved credit card.

       • PayPal

         View information about your linked PayPal account (partial e-mail) and/or unlink the PayPal account from your Nintendo Account.

       • Payment Method for Automatic Renewal / Pre-orders

         Set the payment method (credit card, PayPal, or available funds) you want to use for the payment of your subscriptions, passes, memberships, or pre-orders.

       • Location Settings

         View and update your current location. This setting is used to calculate sales tax for Nintendo eShop purchases.

       • Pass-Enabled Console

         Check if the current console is the pass-enabled console for your Nintendo Account, and deregister it if desired.

• Review information on Nintendo Switch
  1. Select Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu to launch the Nintendo eShop.
  2. Select the account you want to use.
  3. Select your user icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
  4. Select one of the available options to review or change the relevant information.
     • Current balance

       View your current balance and add funds.

     • Gold Points balance

       Displays the My Nintendo Gold Points that you currently have available to use towards a purchase.

     • Credit Card Information

       View information about your stored credit card (last 4 digits and card expiration date) and/or delete the saved credit card.

     • PayPal

       View information about your linked PayPal account (partial e-mail) and/or unlink the PayPal account from your Nintendo Account.

     • Automatic Renewal / Pre-orders Payment Method

       Set the payment method (credit card, PayPal, or available funds) you want to use for the payment of your subscriptions, passes, memberships, or pre-orders.

     • Location Settings

       View and update your current location. This setting is used to calculate sales tax for Nintendo eShop purchases.

     • Password-Entry Settings (automatic log in)

       Choose to skip or require a password when accessing the Nintendo eShop with your account, using stored credit card information, or using a linked PayPal account to make a digital purchase.

       Important: If you choose not to require a password, your funds and account information will be accessible by other people who use your Nintendo Switch console. You can adjust this setting at any time while you’re in the Nintendo eShop.
     • Pass-Enabled Console

       Check if the current console is the pass-enabled console for your Nintendo Account, and deregister it if desired.

     • Google Analytics Preferences

       Choose whether or not Nintendo can collect and share certain data about using Nintendo eShop through Google Analytics. This applies only to your use of Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch.

     • Wish List

       View or remove Nintendo eShop items in your Wish List.

     • Redownload

       Previously, your digital purchases could be redownloaded through this section. Your content is now redownloaded using the virtual game card feature.

     • Nintendo Switch Online

       Check the status of your Nintendo Switch Online membership, and adjust auto-renewal settings.

     • Your Subscriptions

       Check the status of your other subscriptions and passes, and adjust auto-renewal settings as applicable.

     • Your Pre-orders

       Manage or cancel your pre-orders anytime before payment has been collected.

• Review information through the Account Home website
  1. Go to the Account Home website and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
  2. Scroll down and select Funds and Payment Methods.
     • Funds and Payment Methods
       • Nintendo eShop Funds: View your current balance and add funds.
       • Credit Card: View information about your stored credit card (last 4 digits and card expiration date), save a new credit card or change the saved card, or delete the saved credit card.
       • PayPal: View information about your linked PayPal account (partial e-mail), or unlink the PayPal account from your Nintendo Account.
       • Payment Method for Pre-Orders and Automatic Renewal: Set the payment method (credit card, PayPal, available funds, or, for pre-orders, Nintendo Switch Game Voucher) you want to use for the payment of your subscriptions, passes, memberships, or pre-orders.
       • Billing address: Review the state and ZIP/Postal Code of your billing address, and change it if necessary. This address is used to calculate sales tax for Nintendo eShop purchases.
     • Purchase History

       To review your purchase history, scroll down and select Transaction History or Preorders.

       • Transaction History: Review your Nintendo eShop account activity for the past two years.
       • Pre-Orders: Manage or cancel your pre-orders anytime before payment has been collected.
