How to Verify the Email Address for a Nintendo Network ID

In this article, you'll learn how to verify the email address associated to the Nintendo Network ID.

Note: You can also click the link within the verification email to verify the email address automatically.

Complete these steps

Access the Nintendo Network ID Settings.
Click the right arrow to reach page 2.
Select Email Confirmation.
- This will say Incomplete if your email has not yet been verified.
Select Enter Confirmation Code.
- If you no longer have the email with the confirmation code, select Resend Email, then Yes to have the email resent. The email should arrive within one hour.
If you request to have the confirmation code resent, and the email does not arrive within the hour, try the following:
- Select If the email does not arrive for some common trouble spots related to receiving email.
- Update the email address associated to your NNID, then try again.
Enter the 6-digit confirmation code from the email you received.
Select Confirm to complete the process.
