How to Redeem Points for a My Nintendo Reward

What kind of points are you trying to redeem?

• Gold Points

  To apply Gold Points to a purchase in the Nintendo eShop, please read How to Purchase or Download Content in Nintendo eShop.

  To apply Gold Points to a purchase on the Nintendo website, please read How to Purchase or Pre-Order Nintendo eShop Games on Nintendo.com.

• Platinum Points
  1. Go to My Nintendo and sign in to your Nintendo account.
     • I haven't signed up for My Nintendo rewards yet
       1. Go to My Nintendo.
       2. Select Sign in/Create account.
       3. Sign in to your existing Nintendo Account or create a new one.
       4. Click Start to begin a quick tutorial that explains how to complete missions, earn points, and redeem rewards.
          • Once the tutorial is over, you're ready to start using My Nintendo. Check the current Missions to start earning My Nintendo points.

  2. Click Redeem points to see the list of available Rewards.

  1. What type of My Nintendo Reward do you want to redeem your My Nintendo Platinum Points for?

     Application Items (Super Mario Run, etc.) Smart Device/PC Rewards (Wallpapers or Downloadable PDFs) Official Prima Game e-Guide Sweepstakes Entry Physical Rewards
  2. 1. Check that you have:
        • Downloaded the appropriate application to your smartphone or tablet.
        • Linked the application to your Nintendo Account. (This is usually done through the settings within each application.)
        • Enough My Nintendo Platinum Points for the item.
     2. Select the appropriate application (Fire Emblem Heroes, etc) to view the items that are currently available.
     3. Select the reward to bring up the reward details page.
     4. Click Redeem.
     5. Click Redeem again. Your items will be sent to the application they’re for.
     6. Start the appropriate application to claim your My Nintendo Reward. They will usually be located in a Gift Box or similar area of the game.

     1. Check that you have enough My Nintendo Platinum Points for the reward.
     2. Select the reward to bring up the reward details page.
     3. Click Redeem.
     4. Click Redeem again.
     5. Select the appropriate wallpaper size or PDF language (English, French, Spanish) when prompted. The file will automatically download to your PC or smart device.

     Important

     • Prima e-Guides are currently available in English only.
     • A Prima Games account is required to access the game guide (you must be at least 13 to register). This is separate from your Nintendo Account and is not linked to My Nintendo.

     1. Check that you have enough My Nintendo Platinum Points points for the reward.
     2. Select the reward to bring up the reward details page.
     3. Click Redeem.
     4. Click Redeem again. A Reward Code will appear on your screen.
     5. To redeem the code now, click Access now to reach Prima Games. The code will also be available in your Points History if you want to redeem it later.
     6. Go to Prima’s website and sign in or create an account.
        • For assistance setting up an account with Prima, please contact Prima directly.
     7. Click Redeem Code in the upper-right corner of Prima’s website.
     8. Enter the reward code you received, then click Redeem to launch the e-Guide.

     To access your e-Guide(s) in the future, visit Prima's Games and sign in to your Prima account, then click My Games and Codes.

     1. Check that you have enough My Nintendo Platinum Points for the reward.
     2. Select the reward to bring up the reward details page.
     3. Adjust the number of sweepstakes entries you'd like.
        • The number of entries allowed per Nintendo Account may vary between different sweepstakes.
     4. Click Redeem.
     5. Click Redeem again.
     6. Click Close on the confirmation window when it appears.

     You can review past sweepstakes entries in the Points History of your Nintendo Account.

     1. Check that you have enough My Nintendo Platinum Points for the reward.
     2. Select the reward to bring up the reward details page.
     3. Click Add to cart.
     4. Click View cart and check out.
        • If you want to redeem more points for another reward, click Continue shopping. You can view your cart and check out anytime by clicking the shopping cart icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
     5. Click To secure checkout.
     6. Re-enter your Nintendo Account password and click OK. You will be redirected to Nintendo Store to complete your order.
     7. Enter your first name, last name, and shipping address.
     8. Select your shipping method.

        Note: You will need to pay for shipping costs when redeeming Platinum Points for a physical My Nintendo reward.

     9. Click Continue to payment.
     10. Select your payment method to complete your purchase.
         • Credit cards saved to your Nintendo Account.
         • A new debit or credit card. You will need to enter the information for the card.
         • Google Pay. You will need to sign in to your Google account.
     11. Click Purchase.
     12. You will be directed to a confirmation page with details about your order.

     You can review past physical reward orders in the Points History of your Nintendo Account.
