How to Complete a My Nintendo Mission

Complete these steps

Which type of My Nintendo Mission are you trying to complete?

• Regular Platinum Points Mission
  1. Go to the My Nintendo website.
  2. Sign in to your Nintendo Account.
     • How to sign in to an NA using email address/sign-in ID and password
       1. Enter the email address or sign-in ID and password associated to your account.
       2. Click Sign in.
       3. If additional verification is needed, follow the prompts.
          • If you have registered a passkey with your Nintendo Account: you will be prompted to sign in using your passkey instead.
          • If you have set up 2-step verification: launch the Google Authenticator app on your smart device, enter the code it displays, and click Authenticate.
          • If you're prompted to confirm your identity: an email with a verification code will be sent to the email address associated with your Nintendo Account. Locate the code in your email and enter it in the "Verification code" box, then click Verify.

     • How to sign in to an NA using a passkey

       Passkeys can only be used to sign in on the device the passkey was registered on. If the device associated with your passkey is not available, use one of the other methods to sign in.

       1. Select Sign in under "Passkey Sign-in".
       2. Perform the relevant steps on your device to use your passkey.

     • How to sign in to an NA using Google or Apple Account
       1. Click the button for the appropriate service (Google or Apple) and enter your login information if needed.
       2. If additional verification is needed, follow the prompts.
          • If you have set up 2-step verification: launch the Google Authenticator app on your smart device, enter the code it displays, and click Authenticate.
          • If you're prompted to confirm your identity: an email with a verification code will be sent to the email address associated with your Nintendo Account. Locate the code in your email and enter it in the "Verification code" box, then click Verify.

  3. Click Menu in the upper-left corner, then click Earn points to see a current list of active missions.
  4. Click the Mission details next to each mission to read the details about how to complete it.
  5. Follow the instructions in the mission details to complete the mission.
     • Example - link your social media account(s) to your Nintendo Account.
  6. Once you have completed the mission terms, return to the My Nintendo Missions page.
  7. Locate the mission on the page, and click Collect Points.
     • You can also click Collect all at the bottom of the page to receive all points you have not yet collected.
     • These missions may also have a timeframe during which the points must be collected. If this time passes, the mission will count as completed but the points will not be granted.
  8. The General Platinum Points will be added to your Points total (in the top-right corner of the screen).
• Nintendo Switch Online Platinum Points Mission

  Nintendo Switch Online missions are completed by using Nintendo Switch Online on your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console.

  1. Launch Nintendo Switch Online from the HOME Menu on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
  2. Select your user account.
  3. Select Missions & Rewards.
  4. Select the red Super Mushroom seal at the top of the screen to open the Mission Status page, which displays the current list of active missions.
  5. Select How to Complete under each mission to read the details about how to complete it.
  6. Follow the instructions in the mission details to complete the mission.
  7. Once you have completed the mission requirements, launch Nintendo Switch Online from the HOME Menu again. The Platinum Points will be automatically added to your Points total.
     • The completion status for Nintendo Switch Online missions may be delayed when the Nintendo Switch Online services are experiencing high traffic. If the mission is not completing right away, please check the mission status later.
• Mobile App Platinum Points Mission
  1. Go to the My Nintendo website.
  2. Sign in to your Nintendo Account.
     • How to sign in to an NA using email address/sign-in ID and password
       1. Enter the email address or sign-in ID and password associated to your account.
       2. Click Sign in.
       3. If additional verification is needed, follow the prompts.
          • If you have registered a passkey with your Nintendo Account: you will be prompted to sign in using your passkey instead.
