Play Activity

How do I see information about games I’ve played on Nintendo 3DS or Wii U?

To see your Nintendo 3DS or Wii U gameplay activity on the Nintendo Store app, you must link your Nintendo Account with the Nintendo Network ID (NNID) registered to your Nintendo 3DS or Wii U.

  1. In the Nintendo Store app, go to the User Page, then tap Play Activity.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, then tap the Link button.
  3. Follow the linking process on How to Link or Unlink a Nintendo Network ID to a Nintendo Account.

If you do not see the Link button, your Nintendo Account is already connected to a Nintendo Network ID. Follow these steps to link a new NNID to the Nintendo Account and/or link the NNID to a different Nintendo Account.

Why can’t I see my play activity even though I’m signed in to my Nintendo Account?

If you do not see your play activity, you might be signed in with a Nintendo Account that is not linked to your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch. To check the Nintendo Account used to sign in, and to log in with a different Nintendo Account:

  1. In the Nintendo Store app, go to the User Page, then tap the Settings gear icon at the top right.
  2. Check the Nintendo Account currently used to sign in to the app.
  3. Tap Sign Out to sign out of the app.
  4. Sign in again using the information for the Nintendo Account linked to your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.

Why does the play activity on the Nintendo Store app look different from the play activity on my console?

The Nintendo Store app shows your play history, starting from the day you linked your Nintendo Account to your console.

It can take up to one day for gameplay data to appear on the app. This data transfer occurs when your console is in sleep mode and connected to the Internet, so the information might not always match the information on your console. Additionally, if you just created your Nintendo Account, it can take a few days for your play history to show up in the app.

If you have gameplay data for Nintendo 3DS or Wii U, the Nintendo Store app only displays play data through February 2020.
