How to Change the NNID Linked to the Nintendo Account

The information in this article can help you when a Nintendo Network ID (NNID) has been linked to the wrong Nintendo Account.
What to do
- Sign in to the Nintendo Account that is currently linked to the Nintendo Network ID.
- Unlink the Nintendo Network ID from your Nintendo Account. If you created your Nintendo Account with your NNID, you will need to link an additional service (different NNID, Google account, Apple Account) or create a Nintendo Account password before you can remove the link.
- You can now link a new NNID to the Nintendo Account and/or link the NNID to a different Nintendo Account.
