Error Message: "Could Not Connect to the TV, Please Use the AC Adapter Supplied With the Console." on Nintendo Switch 2

Steps for when you are trying to use Nintendo Switch 2 in TV mode and a message is displayed about needing to use the AC adapter that was supplied with the console.
Note: This message may be displayed if you're not using the official Nintendo Switch 2 AC adapter (model no. NGN-01).
What to do
- Power off the TV and disconnect all cables from the dock.
- Unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet and unplug the USB-C charging cable from the dock and the AC plug. Leave them unplugged for at least thirty seconds.
- While performing this step, verify you are using the Nintendo Switch 2 AC adapter (model No. NGN-01)
and check for any damage to the cable (frayed cables, kinks, knots, etc.) or the AC plug.
- If any damage is found, or if a different charger is being used, replacing it with the correct accessory may resolve the problem.

- While performing this step, verify you are using the Nintendo Switch 2 AC adapter (model No. NGN-01)
and check for any damage to the cable (frayed cables, kinks, knots, etc.) or the AC plug.
- Undock the Nintendo Switch 2 console
and ensure it has the latest system update. If the console is already up to date, restart it.

- Scroll down through the System Settings menu and select System.
- Select System Update, to start the system update process.
- During the process, the system will first perform a check to determine if a new system update is available.
- If an update is available, the download process will begin automatically.

How to update Nintendo Switch 2 dock firmware
- Connect the AC adapter to the dock and directly to a wall outlet, then connect the HDMI cable to the dock and directly to an HDMI port on the TV set.
- If a different device is being used with the AC adapter such as a multi-outlet power strip or a power converter, remove them temporarily.
- Power on the TV and dock the console with the console screen facing in the same direction as the front panel on the dock.
- If the error message is still displayed, try a different Nintendo Switch 2 AC adapter.
- If the issue is resolved using a different Nintendo Switch 2 AC adapter, the original one will need to be replaced.
Situation not resolved
If the issue persists using a different AC adapter, or if another one is unavailable for testing, the Nintendo Switch 2 console, the dock, and the AC adapter will need to come in for service.
