How to Add Funds to Nintendo eShop through the Account Home Website

Information on how to add Nintendo eShop funds to your Nintendo Account online.
Important
- The option to add funds in this way is available in countries in our region with Nintendo eShop.
- Funds added can be used to make purchases in Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch, or to purchase digital games through Nintendo Store.
Complete these steps
- Visit the Account Home website.
- Sign in to your Nintendo Account.
- Select Funds and Payment Methods.
- In the "Nintendo eShop Funds" section, select Add funds.
- Re-enter your password and click OK to proceed.
- Select how you would like to add funds, and follow the on-screen prompts to enter your payment information.
- You can use a credit card, Nintendo eShop Card, or, in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, a PayPal account, to add the funds.
- Select the amount of funds that you would like to add.
- Note that you cannot add an amount that would cause your balance to exceed $800 USD, $1100 CAD, $5000 MXN, $260,000 ARS, R$1500 BRL, $250,000 CLP, $1,200,000 COP, or S/1000 PEN.
- Review the funds to be added and click Add funds. The funds will automatically be applied to your balance, and you will receive a confirmation email to your Nintendo Account email address.
