Steps for adding funds to the Nintendo eShop in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.

Before you start

A Nintendo Account is required to access the Nintendo eShop, and your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch must be connected to the internet.

What to do

  • Add funds with a Credit Card

Note: The credit card you use must have been issued in the same country as the Nintendo eShop you want to use. For example, credit cards issued for Brazil will only work in the Nintendo eShop for Brazil.

    1. Launch Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu.
    2. Select the account you want to use.
    3. Select the picture of your icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
    4. Select Add Funds.
    5. Select Credit Card.
      • Using a previously stored credit card

If you have a credit card stored on your Nintendo Account, you will be prompted to select either Use this credit card or Use another credit card. If you use the stored credit card, you will not need to re-enter the credit card information to complete the purchase.

    6. Select the amount of funds you want to add from the available options.
      • Your total balance cannot exceed the following:

  • Add funds using a Nintendo eShop Card or Nintendo eShop digital gift card (Brazil only)
