How are you trying to connect to the internet?

    4. Select the appropriate network name (SSID) from the list.
      • The network's name isn't on the list

If you are unable to find your network's name, stand closer to the wireless router and press the Y Button to search again.

If you are still unable to find your network, this may indicate an issue with the wireless network environment.

      • The network's name is grayed out

If the network name is grayed out, this indicates the wireless security type being used is not supported by the Nintendo Switch 2 console.

The Nintendo Switch 2 console supports the following:

        • Wireless Frequencies: 2.4 GHz, 5 Ghz
        • Wireless Modes: 802.11ba, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax
        • Wireless Security Types: WPA-PSK(AES), WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA3-SAE (AES)

For assistance changing your router security settings, please refer to your router's manual or contact your router manufacturer's support.

    5. Use the onscreen keyboard to enter the network's wireless password, if one is required. Entering wireless network password using on-screen keyboard in the System Settings on Nintendo Switch 2
