Error Code: 2813-2470
Steps for when you receive the error code 2813-2470 and the message: "There was an issue processing your transaction. Contact your card issuer for more information." when you try to make a purchase on Nintendo eShop using a credit card.
What to do
- Delete any credit card information that is saved to your Nintendo Account.

How to delete credit card information from a Nintendo Account on the website
- Visit the Nintendo Account website and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
- Select Funds and Payment Methods.
- Select Change under the "Payment Methods" section.
- Click Delete where the name, last four digits, and expiration for the saved credit card appears.
- The Credit Card area will say “No saved credit card information available” if a credit card has not been stored on your account. This means that credit card information is also not saved in Nintendo eShop.
- Click Delete again to confirm.
- This will also remove your credit card information from your account in Nintendo eShop.

How to delete credit card information from a Nintendo Account on the website
- Make sure that your Nintendo Account country setting matches the country your credit card is issued in. Payment may be restricted to credit cards issued in the same country as your Nintendo Account. You can correct the country setting on your Nintendo Account, if needed.
- For example, a credit card issued in Mexico will not work if your Nintendo Account is set to Argentina or Chile.
- Try to buy the item again and make sure you enter all your card information correctly, including name, billing address, and security code.
Situation not resolved
If you continue to receive the error code, there may be an issue related to the credit card. Please check with the bank or company that issued your credit card for more information and to make sure your billing information is accurate.
