How to Enable Wireless Communication

In this article, you'll learn how to turn on wireless communication.
Note: The Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, and Nintendo 2DS systems' wireless communications cannot be enabled while playing a Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi game.
Complete these steps
For the original Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL
- Push up on the Wireless switch located on the right side of the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL.
- Verify that the Wireless LED is on.
For Nintendo 2DS and New Nintendo 3DS family systems
- Select the HOME Menu Settings icon in the upper left corner of the bottom screen.
- Scroll down to Wireless Communication.
- Tap On.
- Click on the X near the bottom left corner to return to the HOME Menu.
