Error Code: 2110-1100
Steps for when you receive the error code 2110-1100 and the message: "Unable to connect to the Internet" while trying to connect a Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch to the Internet.
Note: This error usually occurs when the Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console was unable to detect a network that matches any of the saved networks within the Internet settings.
Before you start
You will need:
- Your Nintendo Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console
- An Internet connection

Are you using a wireless or wired Internet connection?

Test your connection after each step below to determine if the change to your console or network settings resolves your issue.
- Remove your console from the dock.
- Move the console within 10 to 15 feet of the wireless router to improve the signal strength during troubleshooting.
- If you haven't already, it may be helpful to remove the console from the dock while troubleshooting, and then return the console when troubleshooting is complete.
- Restart your console.

Console is not responding
If the console does not respond, hold down the POWER Button for twelve seconds to force it to shut down. Then power it on again.

- Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.

- Select the appropriate network name (SSID) from the list.
- Use the onscreen keyboard to enter the network's wireless password, if one is required.
- The connection will be tested. Once the test is complete, select OK.

- If the modem's lights remain on, this may indicate you have a back-up battery installed. You will need to remove this battery to power cycle the modem.
- After 30 seconds, plug the power cable back into your modem and wait for the lights to remain steady.

Both ends of the Ethernet cable should fit securely to the Ethernet ports on the LAN adapter or dock and the router/modem. If either end of the cable does not stay secure, you may need to try a different Ethernet cable.
