Missing Nintendo eShop Funds on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch
Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model
Steps to help when you cannot find the funds you added to your Nintendo eShop balance.
Possible solutions
-
Check if the purchase was made on a different console
- Visit the Account Home website, and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
- Purchases can only be viewed when logged in to the Nintendo Account that made them. The purchase history of a parent account will not include purchases made on a child account.
- Select Funds and Payment Methods.
- Scroll down and select Transaction History.
- Here, you can view account activity dating back up to two years. This includes any promotional or bundled download codes that came with your purchases.
- Visit the Account Home website, and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
-
Check which Nintendo Account the funds were added to
Check the balance for each Nintendo Account linked to your console to see if the funds were added to a different account than the one you are using. Note that funds are not transferrable and are not shared between different Nintendo Accounts. Funds added to one Nintendo Account will only be available when signed in with that account.

Check that funds were added for the same country that your Nintendo Account is set to

If you have added funds while the Nintendo Account is set to one country, use the remaining funds before you change to a different country.
