How to Receive a Mystery Gift (Pokémon Pokopia)

Follow these steps to use the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Pokopia.

Before you start

  • An internet connection is required to access Mystery Gift.
    • How to connect Nintendo Switch 2 to a wireless home network
      1. Place the Nintendo Switch 2 console within 10 feet of the wireless router so there will be a strong wireless signal.

      4. Select the appropriate network name (SSID) from the list.

      6. The connection will be tested. Once the test is complete, select OK.
        • If the connection test fails, an error code and message will appear. Search for our support article on the error code for steps to troubleshoot the connection.

  • It takes approximately 30 minutes of play time before you can access the PC at a Pokémon Center to use Mystery Gift.

Complete these steps

  1. Start Pokémon Pokopia from the HOME Menu.
  2. Press the A Button on the title screen.
  3. Walk to the PC in your town and press the A Button to check it.
  4. Select Get Items.
  5. Select Mystery Gifts.
How do you want to receive the gift?
  • Internet
    1. Select Get via Internet to connect to the Internet.
    2. Choose the gift you want to receive.
    3. Watch as the gift arrives in your game. The game will automatically save after receiving the gift.
  • Code/Password
    1. Select Get with Code/Password to connect to the Internet.
    2. Enter your code.
    3. Watch as the gift arrives in your game. The game will automatically save after receiving the gift.
