How to Use CameraPlay (Mario Kart World)
Nintendo Switch 2
Follow these steps to use CameraPlay to see your face and/or friends' faces in-game while playing Mario Kart World locally or in GameChat.
Information
CameraPlay can be used in Multiplayer and Online Play modes to see players' faces while in-game.
- In Multiplayer mode, up to four players can play together locally and have their faces appear in-game using a single camera.
- For Online Play, you must be in a GameChat room to use CameraPlay. Up to two players per console can have their face appear in-game using a single camera, and up to four consoles in the GameChat room can be using CameraPlay at one time, for a maximum of eight players' faces appearing in-game together. Additional players in the GameChat room who are not using their own camera can still view their friends' faces.
Before you start
- A compatible USB camera (sold separately), such as the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera, must be connected to the system to use CameraPlay. Make sure to connect the camera before selecting any modes in-game.
- A Nintendo Switch Online membership and persistent internet connection are required to use GameChat.
