WARNING — CONTAINS MAGNETS — PACEMAKERS AND OTHER IMPLANTED MEDICAL DEVICES

Parts of the Nintendo Switch 2 console and accessories are magnetic. The magnets contained in the Nintendo Switch 2 console and accessories may keep nearby pacemakers and other implanted medical devices from functioning properly. IF YOU HAVE A PACEMAKER OR OTHER IMPLANTED MEDICAL DEVICE, DO NOT USE THE Nintendo Switch 2 CONSOLE OR ACCESSORIES WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING YOUR QUALIFIED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL OR THE MANUFACTURER OF YOUR PACEMAKER OR OTHER IMPLANTED MEDICAL DEVICE. DO NOT OPERATE THE Nintendo Switch 2 CONSOLE OR ACCESSORIES WITHIN 6 INCHES OF A PACEMAKER OR OTHER IMPLANTED MEDICAL DEVICE. If you have any reason to suspect that interference is occurring, immediately turn off your Nintendo Switch 2 system, and discontinue use of the Nintendo Switch 2 console and accessories.

WARNING — FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK

To avoid electric shock and fires, as well as damage to your Nintendo Switch 2 system when in use:

  • Plug the AC adapter into an easily accessed standard wall outlet near your Nintendo Switch 2 system.
  • When connecting the AC adapter to an outlet, be aware of the load capacity of the circuit.
  • Be sure to connect the AC adapter to the correct voltage (100-240V).
  • Use an attachment plug adapter of the proper configuration for the power outlet, if needed.
  • Make sure that the AC adapter plug is fully inserted into the wall outlet or extension cord.
  • Always carefully disconnect all plugs by pulling on the plug and not on the USB-C® charging cable.
  • To avoid damage due to excess voltage, unplug the Nintendo Switch 2 system if not used for an extended period.
  • Please disconnect the AC adapter during a lightning storm. There may be a risk of electric shock from lightning.
  • When cleaning your Nintendo Switch 2 system, unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet. If you need to clean your AC adapter, do not use liquid or spray cleaners and use a dry cloth.
  • Do not use the AC adapter or USB-C charging cable if it is damaged, and do not use the USB-C charging cable if it has split or broken wires.
  • Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the AC adapter and Nintendo Switch 2 system and that any air vents on the system are unobstructed.
  • Do not expose the AC adapter or Nintendo Switch 2 system to extreme heat.
  • Do not expose the AC adapter or Nintendo Switch 2 system to any type of liquid or high humidity.
  • Do not place objects on top of the USB-C charging cable.
  • Do not place the USB-C charging cable in a location where it could cause you to trip over it.
  • The operating temperature for this product is 41°F–95°F (5–35°C).
  • The AC adapter is a Class II device. If you use a power strip, use one that is compatible with Class II equipment and approved for use in your country.
  • To minimize the risk of damage to the system, use only Nintendo-licensed AC adapters with your system.
WARNING - BATTERY LEAKAGE

The Nintendo Switch 2 system and certain accessories contain rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Leakage of ingredients contained within the battery, or the combustion products of the ingredients, can cause personal injury, as well as damage to your Nintendo Switch 2 system. If battery leakage occurs, avoid contact with skin. If contact occurs, immediately wash thoroughly with soap and water. If liquid leaking from a battery comes into contact with your eyes, immediately flush thoroughly with water, and see a qualified health professional.

To avoid battery leakage:

  • Do not expose battery to excessive physical shock, vibration, or liquids.
  • Do not disassemble, attempt to repair, or deform the battery.
  • Do not dispose of battery in a fire.
  • Do not touch the terminals of the battery or cause a short between the terminals with a metal object.
WARNING — RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE — PACEMAKERS AND OTHER IMPLANTED MEDICAL DEVICES

The Nintendo Switch 2 console and some accessories connect wirelessly and can emit radio waves that can affect the operation of nearby electronics, including by keeping pacemakers and other implanted medical devices from functioning properly.

Turn off your Nintendo Switch 2 system in any locations where instructed to do so, and follow all the rules and posted instructions in areas where wireless-network use is prohibited.

WARNING — HEARING SAFETY

When using headphones, set the volume at a safe level. Setting the volume too high may harm your hearing or damage the headphones.

CAUTION — SYSTEM AND ACCESSORIES PRECAUTIONS AND MAINTENANCE
  • Do not use your Nintendo Switch 2 system or any accessories if any parts are broken or damaged. Contact Nintendo Customer Service for assistance with any broken or damaged parts.
  • Do not turn off the power, remove the game card, or remove the microSD Express card while data is being read or saved.
  • Do not store the Nintendo Switch 2 system or game cards in a humid place, on the floor, or in any location where they may contact moisture, dirt, dust, lint, or any other foreign material.
  • Do not drop, hit, or otherwise abuse the Nintendo Switch 2 console, components, game card, or accessories. Doing so may damage the screen or other precision components of the Nintendo Switch 2 console or accessories.
  • Make sure all connections to the Nintendo Switch 2 system are made carefully and inserted into the correct locations only. Hold plugs straight when inserting them into sockets.
  • When disconnecting any AC adapter from the Nintendo Switch 2 console or wall outlet, always carefully pull by the AC adapter itself rather than by the cord.
  • Do not expose the Nintendo Switch 2 console, game cards, or any of the Nintendo Switch 2 components or accessories to extreme heat or cold. The Nintendo Switch 2 display may become slower or may not work when the temperature is low. The screen will deteriorate at a high temperature. Take care not to expose the Nintendo Switch 2 system to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
  • The screen may be damaged by sharp objects or pressure. Take care to protect the display from scratches or stains.
  • Do not cover any console air intakes or vents while playing or charging, to avoid overheating.
  • To minimize the risk of damage to the Nintendo Switch 2 system, connect only Nintendo-licensed accessories to any external connectors.
  • Do not spill liquids on the console, game cards, or other components or accessories. If liquids get into the system, do not charge the console. Contact Nintendo Customer Service for further instructions.
  • To minimize the risk of image retention or screen burn-in occurring on the screen, do not turn off the system’s default sleep mode settings, and take care to not display the same image on the screen for extended periods of time.
  • Do not peel off the antiscattering adhesive film from the screen of the console.
  • Verify that the areas near your system are free of magnetic objects. Cards with magnetic strips, like credit cards, may become unreadable if they are kept near the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
  • If small metal objects such as screws or tacks become affixed to the magnetic areas on the console or accessories, remove these objects with a cotton swab or soft cloth instead of removing them directly with your fingers. Continuing to use the product without removing such objects could result in damage to the console or accessories or your metal objects.
CAUTION — AC ADAPTER PRECAUTIONS

SEE FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK WARNING ABOVE AND THE AC ADAPTER FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

CAUTION — BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

To minimize the risk of damage to the Nintendo Switch 2 system, when recharging the battery, use only Nintendo-licensed AC adapters.

  • Avoid touching the connectors with your fingers.
  • Always check the game card connection edge for foreign material before inserting the game card into the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
NOTICE — CLEANING THE SYSTEM

If the screen becomes dirty, please clean it using a soft, clean cloth, such as a lens- or eyeglass-cleaning cloth. If the outside of the Nintendo Switch 2 system comes into contact with liquids, wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth (use water only). If the cleaning procedures do not solve the problem, please visit our website at support.nintendo.com for troubleshooting information.

  • Make sure the play surface is clear and that there's nothing stuck to the controller or strap.
  • Use caution when using the controller on surfaces that are easily scratched.
  • Consider using a mouse pad or table pad beneath your controller.
  • Use the controller only on a flat surface with no sharp edges or protrusions.
