How to set up your Nintendo Switch 2 console for the first time.
Complete these steps
- Connect the the USB cable to the AC adapter.
- Connect the AC adapter to the wall outlet.
- Connect the USB-C cable into the USB-C connector on the console.
- Attach both Joy-Con 2 controllers to the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the first-time setup. Some of these settings can be configured later.
- System language and region settings
- A system update can be applied to enable Text to Speech after setting up an Internet connection, if you select a supported language. Detailed descriptive steps to reach that point are available.

Supported Text to Speech languages
- A system update can be applied to enable Text to Speech after setting up an Internet connection, if you select a supported language. Detailed descriptive steps to reach that point are available.

Additional information
- Use the provided cables when setting up your Nintendo Switch 2 with the dock. The included Ultra High Speed HDMI cable and AC adapter (Model NGN-01) will ensure your console performs properly.
- The Nintendo Switch AC adapter can be used when plugged into the Nintendo Switch 2 console directly, but due to differing power outputs, it can not be used with the Nintendo Switch 2 dock to support TV mode.
