Bluetooth Audio Device Repeatedly Connects/Disconnects from Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo Switch 2

Steps for when a Bluetooth audio device you have paired to your Nintendo Switch 2 console repeatedly disconnects and reconnects during use.

What to do

  1. Confirm your console is on the latest system version.
  2. Restart the console.
  3. Power off your Bluetooth audio device and then power it on again.
  4. Confirm your Bluetooth audio device is sufficiently charged.
  5. Make sure you are not using local wireless features on the Nintendo Switch system, such as local multiplayer across multiple systems. Bluetooth audio cannot be used at the same time as local wireless.
  6. Confirm that no more than two wireless controllers are paired to the system. Up to two wireless controllers can be paired while using a Bluetooth audio device.
  7. Move your Bluetooth audio device closer to your console and ensure there is no metal or electronic equipment between the audio device and the system or surrounding the system.
  8. Remove the device from the console so it can be paired again.
  9. Pair the device again.
