How to Update Software on Nintendo Switch 2

Complete these steps

  1. Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
  2. Navigate to the System section, then toggle on the Software Auto-Updates option. Updates to installed software will be downloaded automatically while the Nintendo Switch 2 console is connected to the Internet.

       1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the Nintendo Switch 2 dock and then connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your router or gateway.
       2. Place the Nintendo Switch 2 console into the dock.
       3. On the console, select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
