Can I Invite Friends to Join My Game on Nintendo Switch 2?
With software that supports GameShare, you can invite friends to join your game even when they don't own the game themselves. You can also invite your friends to a GameChat room to play and chat together.
Games that support local or online multiplayer features often have a way to invite friends or join a friend's game from within the game itself. Check the game’s menu or settings for assistance with setting up a multiplayer game. For games published by Nintendo, you can also search our support site for how to start a multiplayer game with a particular title. It is not possible to invite specific people on your Friend List to join a multiplayer game directly from the User Page menu, but you can invite specific people on your Friend List to a GameChat room using the C Menu.
When someone on your Friend List has invited you to join their game, you can view and accept their invite by selecting your User profile in the top-left of the HOME Menu and scrolling down to Online Play Invites. Invites for GameChat can be accepted by using the C Menu.
