Pre-installed Software Is Missing or Deleted (Nintendo 3DS)

The information in this article can help you when pre-installed software included with a Nintendo 3DS family system is either missing from the system or was accidentally deleted from the SD Card.
Note
- The software should appear on the HOME Menu when the system is first turned on.
- Pre-installed software that has been deleted from the SD card can be re-downloaded from the Nintendo eShop at no cost.
What to do
- Remove and reinsert the SD card or microSD card in the system. If the SD card has come loose, the system may not be able to see the data on the card.
- Connect to the Nintendo eShop and re-download the game.
- If the SD card has been changed, or if the game was deleted from the SD card, the game will need to be re-downloaded from the Nintendo eShop. It is possible that this happened during a system transfer.
