How to Update Swapnote

In this article, you'll learn how to update Swapnote to the latest software version.
Note
- Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.
- After downloading the update, please do not delete the update data. Update data can be viewed in the Downloadable Content area of the Data Management menu.
On December 15, 2020 a new software update for Swapnote became available for download. Please take a moment to download and install this update while your Nintendo 3DS Family system is connected to the Internet.
Complete these steps
- Ensure your system is connected to the Internet.
- Perform a system update to ensure you have the most up-to-date version.
- Download the Swapnote Update from the HOME Menu or Nintendo eShop.
- Once the download is complete, the update will automatically be applied.
