What DLC Is Available? (Pokémon Sword/Pokémon Shield)

An Expansion Pass is available for $29.99 USD, which includes two new areas to explore - the Isle of Armor and the Crown Tundra. Each area offers a different adventure, where you’ll be able to visit the far reaches of the Galar region and meet the people and Pokémon that live there. You’ll also see some familiar Pokémon that didn’t appear in the Galar region before—a total of over 200 Pokémon. Different Pokemon appear on the two different games. Trade with friends to collect them all!
- The Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass is only compatible with the Pokémon Sword game and the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass is only compatible with the Pokémon Shield game. The same Expansion Pass can not be redeemed for both games.
- Players that purchase the Expansion Pass also receive bonus codes for a Pikachu uniform and an Eevee uniform (in-game apparel), which can be redeemed immediately using the in-game Mystery Gift feature. Check your Nintendo eShop receipt for your bonus codes.
- DLC packs are only available as part of the Expansion Pass. They are not available for individual purchase.
- Once the Expansion Pass is purchased by one player on the console, the DLC will also be available to the other players on the console.
- Players in Latin America can purchase the Expansion Pass beginning January 17, 2020.
What is included?
The following DLC packs are included in the Expansion Pass.
- Isle of Armor area: Released June 17, 2020.
- Crown Tundra area: Released October 22, 2020.
