How to Receive a Mystery Gift (Pokémon Sword/Pokémon Shield)

Complete these steps

1. Launch Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield from the console's HOME Menu.
2. Press the X Button during gameplay to access the in-game menu.
3. Select Mystery Gift.
   • Mystery Gift feature has not been unlocked

     To unlock the Mystery Gift Feature in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield:

     1. Battle the mysterious Pokémon in Slumbering Weald.
     2. Speak to your mom.
4. Select Get a Mystery Gift.

How do you want to receive the gift?

• Local Wireless
  1. Select Get via Local Communication. The game will search for any gifts that are currently available. If none are available, it will continue to search until you press the B Button to cancel.
     • Pokémon will be added to your party or your Pokémon Boxes.
     • Non-fashion items will appear in your Bag.
     • Fashion items can be accessed by visiting the fitting room of any in-game boutique.
  2. Be sure to save your game after receiving your gift.
• Internet
  1. Select Get via Internet.
  2. Select Yes. The game will connect to the Internet and search for any gifts that are currently available.
  3. Highlight the Mystery Gift and press the A Button to confirm.
     • Pokémon will be added to your party or your Pokémon Boxes.
     • Non-fashion items will appear in your Bag.
     • Fashion items can be accessed by visiting the fitting room of any in-game boutique.
  4. Be sure to save your game after receiving your gift.
• Download Code
  1. Select Get via Code/Password.
  2. Enter the code you received and select OK Aceptar OK OK .
     • Pokémon will be added to your party or your Pokémon Boxes.
     • Non-fashion items will appear in your Bag.
     • Fashion items can be accessed by visiting the fitting room of any in-game boutique.
  3. Be sure to save your game after receiving your gift.
