The information in this article can help you when liquid of any kind has been spilled in or on the system.
What to do
- Remove the battery cover and battery, and allow the system to dry for a few days.
- Do not use artificial drying methods such as hair dryers, microwaves, etc.
- If liquid touched the battery, a replacement must be purchased. Replacements are available from Nintendo Store.
- After allowing the system to dry for a few days, reinsert the battery into the system and power on the system.
