If the light is flashing rapidly, this is normal. It means that the unit is using, or attempting to use, the wireless connection to communicate with another system.

If the light is flashing slowly and the screen is blank, the system is in Sleep Mode. This will only happen when the lid is closed. When the lid is opened, the unit should turn back on. This is the normal color the charge light displays when the system is recharging.

1. Try removing the AC Adapter from both the system and the wall outlet and leave it unplugged for at least one minute.
2. Re-insert the AC Adapter into the Nintendo DS and the wall outlet to see if the Orange Charge Light (left-most light on the bottom) comes on.
