Steps for when you receive error 9001-1637 and the message "Unable to display page. Please check the URL." when attempting to redeem a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher on Nintendo.com

Information

This error code indicates that you do not have any redeemable Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers on the Nintendo Account you are currently signed in to.

What to do

  • Review your available vouchers and your purchase history to see how your vouchers have been used and if you have any remaining. To check if you have any unredeemed vouchers:
    • Visit https://ec.nintendo.com/my/membership. Available vouchers, along with their expiration date, will appear below your Nintendo Switch Online membership information.
    • Alternatively, using your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console, launch the Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu. Select your user icon in the upper-right, then perform the following:
      • On Nintendo Switch 2: Select your nickname on the left, then scroll down to view your available vouchers.
      • On Nintendo Switch: Select Nintendo Switch Online on the left. Scroll down slightly to view your available vouchers.
  • If all of your vouchers have already been redeemed, you can review your Nintendo eShop Purchase History to view when your vouchers were used.
  • If you purchased the vouchers using a different Nintendo Account than the one that is currently signed in, sign out of the current Nintendo Account, then sign in with the Nintendo Account that purchased the vouchers.

Situation not resolved

If you have a redeemable Nintendo Switch Game Voucher and are sure that you are signed in to the correct Nintendo Account, but you continue to receive an error, please read Unable to Redeem a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher.

Additional information

An active, paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to redeem a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher. Users with a free trial or expired membership will not be able to purchase or redeem vouchers.
