Error Code: 9001-0065

Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model

Steps for when you receive error code 9001-0065 and the message "This product has already been purchased." when trying to make a digital purchase through Nintendo Store or redeem a download code on the Nintendo website.

Information

This error means that the content you are trying to obtain has already been purchased or redeemed by you.

What to do

  1. Scroll through the HOME Menu on your console to see if the game is already downloaded to your system. For DLC, launch the game and check if the content appears.
    • You may need to select All Software to view your full list of downloaded games.
  2. If the content does not appear, redownload it by loading the virtual game card for the game or DLC.
    • How to redownload a game or DLC

      To redownload a digital game or DLC, load the virtual game card:

      1. Select Virtual Game CardsThe Virtual Game Cards icon shown on the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu.       2. Select your user.
      3. If prompted, enter your user verification PIN or enter your Nintendo Account password.
      4. Select the item you want to redownload from the list of your virtual game cards.
      5. Select Load on This System Cargar en esta consola Charger sur cette console Carregar neste console .
      6. The game (and any DLC for that game you have purchased) will begin downloading. You can check the download status on the HOME Menu.
