Information to help you when:
- You receive the error code 2811-6052 while you attempt to redeem a download code in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
- You receive the following error message: "The code you have entered is not a Nintendo eShop prepaid code. Please enter a Nintendo eShop prepaid code."

What to do
Attempt to redeem a download code within the correct section of Nintendo eShop.

How to redeem a code for Nintendo eShop funds
- Launch Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu.
- Select the account you want to add the funds to.
- Select Enter Code on the left side of the screen.
- Enter the 16-character prepaid code, then select OK.
- Select Confirm, then Add. The funds will be applied to your balance.

- When looking up content in Nintendo eShop, if you do not have sufficient funds to purchase it, the option for "Proceed to Purchase" will allow you to add the necessary funds using a credit card, a Nintendo eShop card, or a PayPal account.
- This section of Nintendo eShop does not allow for the redemption of software or membership download codes. If you attempt to redeem a game or membership download code in this section, error code 2811-6052 will be displayed.
