Possible solutions

Locate the receipt you received when you made the purchase.
The download code is a 16-digit code that might be printed on the receipt you received from the retailer.
Check your email.
If you provided an e-mail address to the retailer when you bought the code, the retailer may have sent you an e-mail with a copy of your download code.
Check your previously downloaded titles in the Nintendo eShop.
If the download code was already redeemed on your system, you can re-download the game without re-entering the code.
