How to Insert a Game Boy Advance Game Pak

In this article, you'll learn how to insert a Game Boy Advance Game Pak.
Note: If you have a Nintendo DS Game Card inserted, and your Nintendo DS Lite is set to Auto Mode, then the system will automatically begin the DS game without giving you the option to play any Game Boy Advance Game Paks inserted. Either remove the Nintendo DS Game Card and restart, or change the system setting to Manual Mode.
Complete these steps
- Remove the Game Pak Slot Cover from the Game Pak Slot (SLOT-2).
- Keep the Game Pak Slot Cover so that you can put it back into SLOT-2 should you remove your Game Boy Advance Game Pak.
- With the label side of the Game Boy Advance Game Pak facing away from the Nintendo DS Lite, insert the Game Pak and press it down until it stops. (Due to the compact size of the system, the top of the Game Pak will stick out of the Nintendo DS Lite.)
- Carefully lift up the screen into the open position.
- Press up on the power switch (located on the right side of the Nintendo DS Lite), to turn the power ON.
- Touch START GBA game with the stylus to begin playing the Game Boy Advance game.
