Will the AC Adapter Work in Foreign Countries?

The AC Adapter for Nintendo 3DS family systems sold in North America (model WAP-002) is rated to accept 110 volts at 60 cycles only. Parts of our own region (South America) and most overseas countries operate on different voltages and cycles, and as a result the AC adapter is not directly compatible. In those areas there are AC Adapters sold at retail that are compatible with those outlets and voltages.
