Suspending or Exiting Applications

Important: Do not remove Game Cards or SD Cards or turn the system off while an application is suspended as this could result in corrupted or lost data or other malfunctions.
Note
- DS and DSi games cannot be suspended.
- The HOME Menu cannot be accessed while playing over the Internet.
A game or application can be suspended by pressing the HOME Button during use. While the game or application is suspended the following features can be accessed without exiting the game/application:
- Game Notes
- Notifications
- Friend List
- Camera Mode
- Screen Brightness Settings
- Depending on the game or application, there may also be a software manual available
Once suspended the following actions will also be available:
- Tapping Resume will return to the suspended game/application.
- Tapping Close will exit the application completely.
- Tapping another game/application will close the suspended software and launch the selected title.
