Information to help you when:
- Error code 2124-0150 is displayed when trying to link a Nintendo Account on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
- You receive error message: "This Nintendo Account is already being used on this console. Please link a different Nintendo Account."
What to do
A Nintendo Account cannot be linked to more than one user on a single console.
If the Nintendo Account you are trying to use has already been linked to another user, simply create your own Nintendo Account and link it to the new user with which you wish to use the console's online features.

How to create and link a new Nintendo Account to Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch
- Select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down to highlight UsersUsuariosUtilisateursUsuários, then select the appropriate user account to access the Profile Settings.
- Select Sign in to a Nintendo Account or Link Nintendo Account.
- Select Create a new account.
- Optional: You have the option to select Send account-creation instructions via email to receive steps to link your Nintendo Account with a confirmation code. You can learn more about adding an account with a confirmation code or continue with these steps.
- Use a smart device to scan the QR code to visit the Nintendo Account website. If you do not have a smart device, the link is https://accounts.nintendo.com/.
- Create your Nintendo Account on the Nintendo Account website.
- Return to your Nintendo Switch console and Sign in to your Nintendo Account. You may need to press the B button to return to the sign-in page.
- If you have forgotten your Nintendo Account sign-in information, you can recover or reset your sign-in information.
- Click OK on the confirmation message to return to the system settings.
