Error Message: "This Network's Settings Are Not Supported. Please Choose a Different Network."

Information to help when you are unable to connect to a network, and you receive the error message stating the settings are not supported on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
What to do
If you would like to troubleshoot your network, please contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network administrator for further assistance with performing the following steps:
- Updating your wireless security settings
- The Nintendo Switch 2 console supports WPA-PSK(AES), WPA2-PSK(AES), WPA3-SAE(AES) security types.
- The Nintendo Switch console supports WEP, WPA-PSK(AES), and WPA2-PSK(AES) security types.
Important: If you change the network's security type, you may also need to change this setting on wireless devices that connect to the network (such as any PCs or smart devices).
Additional information
- This error message will appear if the network you are attempting to connect to uses a wireless security type not supported by Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
