How to Follow a News Channel on Nintendo Switch

  • This feature allows you to choose which news channels to follow on Nintendo Switch.
  • A system update may be required for this feature to become available.
  • If you are opted-in to targeted advertisements with your Nintendo Account, you will automatically follow News channels for games you play with your account, including those played using GameShare.

Complete these steps

  1. Where would you like to subscribe to the news channel?
    1. From the HOME Menu select the News icon.
    2. On the top right corner of the screen, select Find Channels, then select Follow Channel next to the channel you would like to subscribe to, or use the search box to the right of the screen.
    1. From the HOME Menu select System Settings.
    2. Navigate to the System section, then select News Channel Settings.
    3. Select Follow Channel next to the channel you would like to subscribe to, or use the search box to the right of the screen.
