How to Sync a Wii U Pro Controller with a Wii U Console

In this article, you'll learn how to sync a Wii U Pro Controller with the Wii U console.
Note: Up to six Wii Remotes and/or four Wii Pro Controllers can work together with the Wii U using either the sensor strip on the Wii U GamePad or the sensor bar.
Complete these steps
- While on the Wii U Menu, press the SYNC Button on the Wii U console.
- You can also sync controllers from the HOME Menu.
- The controller pairing screen will be displayed.
- Press the SYNC button on the back of the Wii U Pro Controller. You can use the stylus from the Wii U GamePad if it is availble. If not, find another suitable object, such as the tip of a pen or a toothpick.
- The Player LED on the controller will light up when the sync is complete.
- The Player LED indicates the player number of the controller currently in use.
