What Types of Wireless Security Is the Wii U Compatible With?

The Wii U is compatible with the following types of security:

  • WEP
  • WPA
  • WPA - PSK(TKIP)
  • WPA - PSK(AES)
  • WPA2 - PSK(TKIP)*
  • WPA2 - PSK(AES)
*While the Wii U and Wii U software supports WPA2-PSK (TKIP), software developed for the Wii is not compatible with this security type.
