How to Verify the E-Mail Address for a Nintendo Network ID

In this article, you'll learn how to verify the e-mail address associated to your Nintendo Network ID.

Complete these steps

The e-mail address can be confirmed on the Wii U, or by clicking the link provided in the confirmation e-mail.

Open the confirmation e-mail that was sent to the e-mail address associated to your Nintendo Network ID.
Click the link provided in the e-mail, then select Confirm.
If you no longer have the e-mail, or if the confirmation code has expired, you can request a new confirmation e-mail on the Wii U system.

If you have not yet verified the e-mail address associated to the Nintendo Network ID, you will be prompted to confirm it each time the system is turned on.
- Switching users will also prompt this message.
Select Confirmation Code.
- If you no longer have the e-mail with the confirmation code, select Resend E-mail, then Send to have the e-mail resent.The e-mail should arrive within one hour.
Enter the 6-digit confirmation code from the e-mail you received.
Select OK to complete the verification process.
