Joy-Con Pairing Issues with Nintendo Switch 2

Help for when you're trying to wirelessly connect Joy-Con controller(s) with Nintendo Switch 2 console and they won't successfully pair, or they disconnect shortly after pairing.

Before you start
You will need:
- Your Nintendo Switch 2 console
- Your Nintendo Switch 2 dock and cables
What to do
- Confirm that your console has the latest system update.

How to check for the latest system update
- Select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the System Settings menu and select System.
- Select System Update to start the system update process.
- The system will check to see if an update is available.

How to check for the latest system update
- Confirm that the Nintendo Switch 2 dock is connected using a Ultra High Speed HDMI cable.
- The HDMI cable included with the Nintendo Switch 2 console is an Ultra High Spree HDMI cable. The HDMI cable included with the Nintendo Switch is not.
- Using the wrong HDMI cable type with the Nintendo Switch 2 dock and console may affect the performance of the console and accessories.
- If you switched the HDMI cable, reconnect the controller after changing out the cable.

How to reconnect the Joy-Con controller
- Go to Controllers from the HOME Menu.
- Select Change Grip Order.
- Press the SYNC Button on the controller.
