Use this article when you're trying to perform a system transfer from Nintendo Switch to Nintendo Switch 2 and you receive Error Code: 2002-6000.
Complete these steps
- Press and hold the POWER Button on both consoles for 12 seconds to turn them off.
- Turn both consoles back on by pressing the POWER Button.
- On the screen with the message about resuming the system transfer, press and hold the (L) or (R) Stick AND (+) or (-) Button on the controller(s) for about two seconds. This should cancel the system transfer.
Due to the nature of the issue, we recommend doing a save data transfer rather than attempting a full system transfer again.
- After signing in to your Nintendo Account on the Nintendo Switch 2, proceed with a save data transfer.
