How to Report a Player for Inappropriate or Offensive Activity / Content (Nintendo Classics Game Libraries)

Follow these steps to report another player for inappropriate or offensive activity/content you encountered when playing a game from a Nintendo Classics library.
Note
- The option to report is available during or after an online session, once a user has joined besides the host and a game has been started. You can report a player even if they already left the online session or the session was closed, as long as you don't close the software from the HOME Menu.
- If the activity occurred during a GameChat session on Nintendo Switch 2 and wasn't directly tied to in-game activity, you can report the user through GameChat instead.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Classics
- If you are still in the online session, press the ZL Button and ZR Button.
- When playing software that uses Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, instead press the + Button and ZR Button, then use solo horizontal grip
to control the menus.
- For the host of the online session, this brings up the Suspend Menu. For other players, this brings up a prompt to end the online session.
- If you or another player already ended the online session, you can still follow the steps below.
- When playing software that uses Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, instead press the + Button and ZR Button, then use solo horizontal grip
- Press and hold the + Button.
- When using a Joy-Con 2 controller in solo horizontal grip, instead press and hold the + Button and SL Button.
- When using the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Controller, instead press and hold the Start Button.
- Select Proceed.
- If there are multiple users in the session, select the user you want to report.
- Select the type of report you want to make:
- Exposing Personal Info
- Violent Content
- Inappropriate/Harmful
- Hateful/Bullying
- Advertising
- Sexually Explicit
- Other
- Enter a reason for the report.
- Once you're ready, select Report.
- If you are still in the online session, press the ZL Button and ZR Button.

Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics
- If you are still in the online session, press the - (Minus) Button, or when using the GameCube Controller press the ZL Button.
- For the host of the online session, this brings up the Suspend Menu. For other players, this brings up a prompt to end the online session.
- If you or another player already ended the online session, you can still follow the steps below.
- Press and hold the + Button, or when using the GameCube Controller press and hold the Start/Pause Button.
- Select Proceed.
- If there are multiple users in the session, select the user you want to report.
- Select the type of report you want to make:
- Exposing Personal Info
- Violent Content
- Inappropriate/Harmful
- Hateful/Bullying
- Advertising
- Sexually Explicit
- Other
- Enter a reason for the report.
- Once you're ready, select Report.
- If you are still in the online session, press the - (Minus) Button, or when using the GameCube Controller press the ZL Button.
Additional information
A screenshot of the in-game screen at the time you began the report will be included. If the online session already ended, this will be the last screen the game was on before the end of the session. You can expand the screen and review it before sending the report by pressing the Y Button.
