The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack is available for purchase through the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2 and the Nintendo Store for $9.99 USD. This upgrade pack is also available to active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members at no additional cost.

Additional information
- When purchased separately, the upgrade pack is treated as a virtual game card. Anyone on the Nintendo Switch 2 system where the virtual game card is loaded will be able to play the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the software if the Nintendo Switch version of the game is also on the system, either as a physical game card or virtual game card.
- When downloaded as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, only Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can play the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. It is not treated as a virtual game card.
