How to Charge the Nintendo Switch 2 Console

Nintendo Switch 2

Follow these steps to charge a Nintendo Switch 2 console.

Note
  • Nintendo Switch 2 consoles are compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2 AC adapter (model No. NGN-01), as well as the Nintendo Switch AC adapter (model No. HAC-002) for charging the console directly.
    • Due to the difference in power output, the Nintendo Switch AC adapter cannot be used to power the Nintendo Switch 2 console to use TV Mode while the console is docked.
    • If you don’t have a licensed adapter, an AC adapter with an output of 54W or more can be used, but please note, unlicensed products do not undergo Nintendo's testing and evaluation process and may have compatibility problems.
  • Nintendo Switch 2 systems require approximately 3 hours to fully charge.

Directly with the Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter.
