When can I use Joy-Con 2 as a mouse?
Joy-Con 2 controllers can be used as a mouse on the HOME Menu of the Nintendo Switch 2 or with mouse-compatible software.

What surfaces can I use the mouse function on?
You can use one or two Joy-Con 2 controllers on a table or other, similarly flat surfaces.
What surfaces won't work?
Mouse controls may not work depending on the surface you are using, such as a glass table or a table that reflects a lot of light.
Depending on the material or fabric the surface is made of, the sensor may not respond properly and mouse controls may not work well. Note, rubbing the Joy-Con 2 may cause the color to fade on some fabrics.
If you are using the Joy-Con 2 on your lap, or another uneven surface, interference could occur. If it does, please try using a flat surface with no obstructions between the controllers and the console.
