How to Manage Notification Settings in the Nintendo Switch App

Follow these steps to adjust push notifications sent by the Nintendo Switch App related to online play, GameChat, and other features.
Before you start
You need to install the Nintendo Switch App on your smart device and sign in with your Nintendo Account to change these settings.
Complete these steps
- Select your user profile in the top right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Select Push Notifications.
- The following notifications can be toggled on or off:
- Friend Requests: Notifications when receiving friend requests and adding new friends
- GameChat Invites: Notifications when another user invites you to a GameChat room
- Online Play Invitations: Select whether to receive these notifications from all friends, best friends, or don't notify
- Game-Specific Services: Toggle notifications from services like SplatNet 3 or ZELDA NOTES
- Notify When Friends Come Online: Select friends to be notified when they begin playing online
- You can also change whether your online status is displayed to all friends, best friends, or no one
