How to transfer game screenshots and video captures from a Nintendo Switch 2 console to a computer using a USB cable.
Before you start
You will need:
- Your Nintendo Switch 2 console
- A computer with an operating system that supports Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)
- Note: You may be able to use this feature by installing (on your computer) a software for MTP support.
- Install software on your computer at your own risk. Nintendo cannot guarantee the use of any software nor can we provide information on software for MTP support.
- A USB cable that supports data transfer (sold separately)
- The cable will connect using the USB-C connector on the console. The other end will need to be USB-C or USB-A depending on the ports available on your computer.
Complete these steps
- Select Settings from the HOME Menu.
- Select Data ManagementGestión de datosGestion des donnéesGerenciar dados.
- Select Manage Screenshots and Videos.
- Select Copy to PC over USB.
- Connect your Nintendo Switch 2 console to a computer using a USB cable.
- The USB cable must be connected directly to the USB-C connector on the console. The USB ports on the dock do not support this feature.
- Once connected to your computer, select the screenshots and/or videos to transfer.
Important: The exact sequence of steps to complete the transfer may vary based on the computer being used.
