This article can help when you're trying to use your Joy-Con 2 controller(s) as a mouse, but the mouse controls aren't working properly or at all.
What to do
- Confirm that your Joy-Con 2 is wirelessly paired.
- Confirm that the mouse control function is turned on.

- Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
- Select Controllers & Accessories.
- Scroll down to Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls.
- Toggle the option on, if it isn't already.

- Confirm that the dock is connected using a Ultra High Speed HDMI cable.
- The HDMI cable included with the console is an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable.
- If the HDMI cable being used is not an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable, swap it out for a supported HDMI cable.
- Change the mouse sensitivity speed.

- Select you desired speed from High, Medium, or Low.
