How to Manage Screenshots and Captured Videos on Nintendo Switch 2

Follow these steps to manage and/or delete screenshots and captured videos on your Nintendo Switch 2 console.
Important: Once deleted, screenshots and videos cannot be recovered.
Before you start
Screenshots and videos for software played on Nintendo Switch 2 can only be saved or copied to a microSD Express card, not to other types of microSD cards.
Complete these steps
- From the HOME Menu, select System Settings.
- Select Data ManagementGestión de datosGestion des donnéesGerenciar dados.
- Select Manage Screenshots and Videos.

A microSD Express card is inserted
The following options will be available:
- Save Location: Choose whether to save your screenshots and videos to the System Memory or to a microSD Express card.
- System Memory: You can copy all saved screenshots and videos to a microSD Express card or delete them from the System Memory.
- microSD Express Card: You can copy all saved screenshots and videos to the System Memory or delete them from the microSD Express card.
- Manage in Album: When this option is selected, all items saved to your Album are displayed for you to select from and manage individually or in batches.
- You can filter to group the items by type, save location, or user.
- Select the Quick Actions icon
to select multiple images to either upload to the Nintendo Switch App, copy to your microSD Express card, copy to system memory, or delete.
- Upload Settings: You can select a user to change their upload settings.
- Copy to PC over USB: You can copy your saved screenshots and videos directly to your computer.

No microSD Express card inserted
The following options can be selected. Other options not listed here will prompt you to insert a microSD Express card.
- System Memory: You can delete all saved screenshots and videos from the System Memory.
- Manage in Album: When this option is selected, all items saved to your Album are displayed for you to select from and manage individually or in batches.
- You can filter to group the items by type, save location, or user.
- Select the Quick Actions icon
- Copy to PC over USB: You can copy your saved screenshots and videos directly to your computer.
Additional information
- If you have screenshots and videos saved on a microSD card from a Nintendo Switch console, you can import them to system memory. Insert the microSD card into your Nintendo Switch 2 console and select Import from a Nintendo Switch microSD Card.
